Error happens when the upload form field is empty, and not getting a value from the database. Error occurs regardless of the upload field in the database having a value or being NULL, but again the webpage form field is empty.

I think I've tried it both ways, but not certain. Spent hours yesterday trying to trouble shoot this and I don't recall all that was attempted. In a normal work flow I would add the Pure Upload to a page already containing the Update Record, but I don't recall the order they would appear in the code. Sorry for not being more help...
