Hello,
Pure PHP Upload appears inside the insert panel > DMXzone (do not confuse the insert bar with the top menu called insert).
It's better to use the DMXzone Extension Manager to install your extensions.

Yes it does work in CC2014 and will be updated to fully support CC2015 in the coming couple of weeks.
