Is there a limit to the amount of text which can be inputted into a MySQL "Text" field with the HTML editor?I have an Adv HTML ED 2 update form which works perfectly for most inputs but for a really long text (18 Word pages) it cuts off the text at about 50,000 characters (10,000 words) The document is 11,500 words.
I don't see why the MySqL wouldn't accept the entire text without cropping the last few paragraphs however this is what is happening. We increased the PhP Memory Limit to 128M on the server to no avail.
Is there some upper limit set in the AdvHTMLEdit.js code?
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Hello Arthur,
Adv. HTML Editor is recognized as nothing but a simple textarea, thus it inherits its limits. Theoretically the user can type unlimited amounts of text into the textarea field. In reality the browser sets the limit, usually no more than 32 K. If you want users to send in their latest novel, consider using file upload.(just joking - its up to you).
