I have a file field that uses validator to accept only PDF files, but is not a required field. If I submit the form with no content in the file field, I get the "Must be a PDF" error message. How to configure this so that the form also accepts an empty file field?

Please double check both client and server-side validations, if you see a required field message the required validation is applied on one of the both places.
