I followed the instructions in the video Master-Detail Relationship with App Connect to build a masterpage where names of all employees are shown. After clicking on a 'details' button, a detailspage based on a filter {{lastname}} is shown. So far so good.

Unfortunally there are employees with the same last name, so I would like to use a filter based on {{initial}} AND {{lastname}}. Where and how in the process do I have to adjust that?

There is no difference if your are using one or two filter vars.
Just add the second variable the same way in the query builder, under filters tab in Server Connect ... and use AND as an operator.
