Hi,
I am trying to upload .PDF files using HTML5 File Upload but they are not being stored. I have selected 'All Files' from the Field properties dialogue in HTML5 Forms Designer and applied a Validator rule to allow for .PDF uploads. Despite this the .PDF files do not get uploaded.

Personally I would consider .PDF to be an essential file type to select from the Field Properties drop-down... Just my two cents.

Is there a file I can edit to allow for .PDF files by default?

Any help appreciated.

Hello Dave,
There are no any restrictions set in the extensions code. If all file types are allowed in the file uploaded settings, then the files will be uploaded.

The files are on the server in the correct location.

Other file types upload fine, such as .txt and .png etc.

please make sure to copy the exact error message returned, as in the tutorial.

Rather then spend too long trying to figure out what is going wrong I removed everything and started afresh and did not apply the validation to the form. Everything works fine and 'ALL' file types are uploaded. When I have a bit more time I will go back to the old page and try to figure out what happened (unfortunately deadlines are a terrible thing sometimes).
