DMX Extension manager won't install on Mac Book Pro

HiI've downloaded the Extension manager to my Mac Book pro, when I double click the file to install it, I get a new window with the applications folder icon. I click on that, the applications folder opens but that's it. I can't find the folder for DMX or extension manager.
If I open Dreamweaver I can't find anything to do with DMX or extension manager.
Can anyone help please?
