I would like to use this extension without a database, so I thought I did not need to buy the data connector.
But in DW I always get an error ( erreur 3 ) stating I need a JQueryComponent_lib.js or DatabaseCommon etc.. and the extension does not work at all.
Is there a way to install this ext. to use it only for one user or a list of users without a database.

You can have a list of users or a single user in the DMXzone Security Provider PHP.

I have yet send a reply but I do not see it so I send another ( sorry if it's duplicated )
I want to use this extension for a one user site and also to protect some pages of a site with a login for members. ( a simple list of users ).
Your support told me that I needed a data connector to get Security provider to work. ( I have data bindings installed but I do not want to buy the data connector as I do not use databases in fact.
When I try to access the extension from DW I get an error message stating I am missing a JQueryComponent_lib.js from the dmx dataconnector folder that has been created during installation. Impossible to open the extension.
Is there a way to solve this issue ??

Hi Patrick,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As long as you have the latest versions of both Security Provider PHP as well HTML5 Data Bindings 1.4 you should be able to use it without a database.

That is indeed the purpose of single login or users list option of the security provider, so you can define your static users and limit access to those.

Note that the security provider currently limits only database access actions so if you don't have those there isn't much to protect, but you can have current user at least and offer login.

In next updates of the security provider we will also offer a full restriction of php pages.
