I purchased the HTML5 data bindings package from you about 18 months ago. Is this an upgrade to those extensions? If so, why is there no upgrade price?
I always found the HTML5 data bindings very clunky and awkward to use, and was a bit annoyed that you can't do any data manipulation with PHP... all of the data is loaded via Ajax and isn't there on the page until after the page has loaded.
Does this solve that problem?

Hello Chuck,
all of the updates for data bindings and database connector are free and you can see this in the DMXzone Extension Manager.
Also - there is no one vs the other. Both extensions work together. With the database connector, you connect to your database and html5 data bindings is used to bind your dynamic data on the page.
The extensions are not "clunky and awkward to use", this is the new modern way of using dynamic data on your pages, with AJAX. This way you can partially refresh your page data, without reloading the whole page, to see the changes.
What exactly do you need/are you trying to do with PHP on your page, which is not possible?
