I truly should have investigated this more thoroughly before investing over $300 in this suite of products. It does some things nicely, but it is incredibly limiting, and after nearly a year of complaints, basic requested features have not been added.

I need a complex where (filter clause)

where (lot=querystringvalue AND customer=Session variable) OR (lot=querystringvalue AND customer="admin" [session variable]).

This cannot be done. I actually have to create and MAINTAIN two separate pages. Why not let people enter the sql directly... this was supposed to be a replacement for dreamweaver's remove of the data connectivity, but here is what I found:

1- it takes twice as long to build
2- it is expensive
3- you cannot read ANY of the database values via PHP prior to the page rendering

You have to be extra careful because the code is JAVASCRIPT and largely visible to the user.

So I am having the same issue that this person did over a year ago:

are we going to get real functionality, or do I have to re-write all of my pages to use server side since this is largely a failed experiment?
