Hello Jim,
We received your email about this and i checked your screenshot.
1. Is your website defined in Dreamweaver and is your remote/testing server properly defined? If your connection is not properly setup the extension cannot automatically put the connection file(s) to it and so the connection with the db will not be successful.
2. I see on the screenshot there are no Username and Password entered in the Database Connection dialog - please make sure to properly fill these fields.
3. Are you trying to connect to your server, with the incl_productlist_dbconnect.php file loaded in your Dreamwaever? Please make sure to load the real page you are working on, not the connection file.

Thank you for your kind attention. I will do as instructed. Have also spent more time with the manuals. As for your questions:
Q1:Yes, website is defined as is remote/testing servers;
Q2:username/password was not indicated as required while multiple attempts at connection tempted me to cut corners with each attempt. Will make sure pw is included.
Q3: had just created and saved a brand new html file to use as a test. It is named simply "db_tester.php".
NOTE: GoDaddy offers PHP5.2 or 5.3. Currently we have the 5.2 version enabled.
Thanks again from your favorite animal maker!
