If I'm trying to set up my SELECT statement by "filter on entered value," does that value I input reside on the PHP page I'm working on, or does it get stored in the separate Database Source include file in the dmxDatabaseSources folder?

In other words, I want to re-use the same Database Source between multiple pages, but I want each of those pages to use their own filter parameter value at run-time. Can i hard code those pages to filter the record source with their unique parameter?
