Hi

Nice extension but seems not to work under IE.

I see that in the extension requirements, internet explorer is not listed.

Is IE support planned in a near future ?

Best Regards

Hello Adel,

The gallery is working in all browsers but the CSS 3D transforms are not supported by IE.

So instead of seeing a flipping effect in IE you will see the back of the image, of course, but it won't be animated.

Hi teodor

IE9 is showing "loading ..." and nothing happens.

I thought IE9 supports 3D transforms.

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, my older clients and those not technical won't want to do anything other than see the page. Taking them to a developer console won't do the trick. Will you have IE support soon? This is a nice function and I would love to purchase. Thanks!

Hello Debbie,

This is actually not something you have to do. I just want to make sure your browser is not in any compatibility mode.

The gallery DOES support IE. It is IE that does not support the modern CSS3 techniques and will not show the gallery animated.

You can check the following article in order to find out more about CSS 3d transforms compatibility:

Thanks for the info Teodor. I'm aware of the ie issues with CSS3 & html 5 limitations, however, I had to press F12 in each window I was viewing the demos. I just figure if I have to do that my clients will have to do this also & I don't think they will be that patient...

Hello Debbie,

There is a way to use a <meta> tag in order to force IE to use the latest rendering engine. Just set in your page head tag this:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge" />

More info on this tag HERE

Regards.

IE8 works as expected without nice transition, but cards on trainers demo do turn to show reverse (IE7 does a messy job, but it does load). However on IE9 (same result on 2 machines) it just says "Loading" "loading" Loading"... Nothing happens. Very bad, npo fall back. When checking script, get following log info: Line 9, character 260, error "console" is undefined, code 0, url www.dmxzone.com/demo/HTML53DFlippingGallery/Shoes/ScriptLibrary/dmx3DFlipGallery.js - Can't see in the source code of the demo html file that you use your own IE-Edge meta tip. Why not? Can't get clients to use F12. Can't buy this product as it is now.

Hello All,

there was a last minute packaging error and there was a
consloe.log

left in the code by developers that causes the strange behavior in some clients' IE9. We changed the file and now clearing your browser cache and reloading the demo pages should fix the issue.
