Hi - I've created a new page using the supersize extension (I've done other sites with this extension and been able to resolve other issues on my own) but on this new page, the page starts to load and then crashes each time before the images are displayed. It works on my laptop (macbook pro w/ mountain lion) without problems but on my ipad (3) it crashes instantly. As a side note, it seems to work without a hitch on my iphone (4). Can you help? Thanks!

You had double included the extension on the page.
Can you please take a look at your code and remove one of the lines :

<script type="text/javascript" src="../ScriptLibrary/dmxSupersized.js"></script>

Also find and remove the following line:

<script type="text/javascript" src="../duchess_of_windsor/ScriptLibrary/dmxPrintIt.js">

Thanks for find those coding errors. I just rebuilt it (please see
www.theatre.ubc.ca/sorrows_of_young_werther/index_new.shtml
to make sure I didn't duplicate coding from older pages and unfortunately, although cleaner in code, it still crashes on the ipad.

Can you please take another look? I appreciate all your help!

Do you need that page to be .shtml ?
If you need to have server instructions, can you convert it to .php or .asp page?

As I didn't need the server side includes on this page, I've removed the .shtml extension and resaved the page as a .html document:

www.theatre.ubc.ca/sorrows_of_young_werther/index_new.html

However, it still crashes on my ipad.

Could it be that there are too many images for this extension to handle on ipad?

I see you have too many images (90 maybe?) that are most probably hitting the iPad memory limit and making it crash.

Yes, it was the image limit. I have reduced it to 12 and now it works.

It would be great if DMXzone could address this in a future update to this extension as upon further searching, I see it has happened to other users of this extension in the past?
