Oddly, I have to use my prior version of Jquery

If I point to JQUERY Latest installed by DMX-zone, it breaks JQUERY mobile. Regardless, when I do load jquery-latest-pack, the map behaves exactly the same way.

You just did not select any zoom level in the map options. Change the zoom level to what you need.
