When in windows please go to :
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
and make sure that your text settings are deafault (100%)

My default text size setting is 125%. Changing it to 100% fixes the problem with Nivo Slider.
However - I prefer using a setting of 125%.
DMX Lightbox and my other extentions do not restrict the system text setting size to 100%. Suggest you remove this dependency from the code and allow the interface to adjust to whatever text setting is used.
Maybe issue a patch version to correct this issue?
