First on the list is the classic Bratwurst, a savory sausage traditionally made from pork, beef, or veal, and seasoned with a blend of spices. Served with mustard and a crusty bread roll, this grilled delight is a must-try at any local market or street vendor.Another German favorite is Schnitzel, a thin slice of meat, often pork or veal, coated in breadcrumbs and then fried to golden perfection. Served with lemon wedges, this crispy dish is a beloved staple in German restaurants.
For those seeking comfort food, indulge in a hearty bowl of Goulash. This stew, originally from Hungary but widely enjoyed in Germany, features tender meat, typically beef, simmered with onions, peppers, and paprika, creating a flavorful and warming meal.
To satisfy your sweet tooth, sample Apfelstrudel, a delightful apple strudel pastry. Thin layers of pastry dough envelop a sweet apple filling, usually seasoned with cinnamon and sugar, then baked to a golden brown and served warm.
Finally, don't miss out on tasting Sauerkraut, fermented cabbage that serves as a popular side dish in German cuisine. Its tangy flavor and distinctive texture complement various hearty meals.

I've tried most of these German dishes https://eatagram.com/ during my travels, and they truly represent the heart and soul of German cuisine. Bratwursts are so flavorful, especially when paired with the tangy mustard – a perfect snack while wandering through a bustling market. Schnitzels, with that crispy coating, have always been a go-to for me; they're a comfort food I can't resist. And Goulash, oh, the rich and robust flavors in every spoonful! It's like a warm hug on a cold day. But what surprises me every time is the Apfelstrudel; the flaky pastry with the sweet apple filling is an absolute treat. Sauerkraut, with its unique taste, might not be for everyone, but it pairs amazingly well with many German dishes.

How are you? German food is definitely amazing, but when I visit Germany, I have my own weakness - delicious snacks at Burger King! Their burgers and fries are second to none. Sometimes you want to take a little break from traditional dishes and enjoy the taste of your favorite fast food!

A complete restaurant dinner with everything is rare in Germany. Typically, you pay a la carte for each side dish except the main item.

In Germany and other European countries, I also have a weakness and I do not miss the chance to enjoy my favorite burger. I especially like to stop by Burger King to treat myself to their classic Whopper or French fries. Delicious and convenient, what could be better after a busy day? Their burger king customer support is always friendly and makes my visit even more enjoyable. Sometimes it's those moments of simple pleasure that make trips special. How do you feel about fast food when traveling?
