Hi there guys,

Thanks for the combination of the asp and php extensions. It really makes a difference.

I would like to make a request. If you look at this site www.fixoutlook.org/ they have mentions from a twitter search feeding into the background of their site. And when a new mention comes in, instead of refreshing the page, it adds the new avatar and then the last one falls off.

I assume that this would work with your cache, but the new avatar would be added to the cache rather then deleting the cache and then recreating it.

If you look at this twitt.co.za/newrss/Untitled-1.php you will see that i have made the exact thing that i need, but obviously we would need the new tweets to come in. and eventually the entire page would fill up.

Or if the live update can't be done, could we request from twitter say 100 from page 1 and 100 from page 2 and 100 from page 3?

Hello Paul,

Ajax or dynamic update of the feed is currently in consideration.
Would you explain what exactly you mean in your second post?

Regards,

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. In the second post, what i was asking is this:

I would like to pull more than 100 records from Twitter. So i was thinking, in the extension, you have page 1 page 2 page 3 etc, can we use that currently to pull 100 records from each page? Would those records then be cached? I would like to cover the entire page with avatars like www.fixoutlook.org. The only way i can see this working now is that you pull 100 records and then repeat those 100 records so that it fills the page. I have made a page with JavaScript here twitt.co.za/ I am looking to make this a full blown project.
