How can I load a low-rez placeholder while the slideshow loads?
My client hates the blank black screen at the top of the page. I've tested this on a variety of machines and 'net connections, and find that most of the time, there is a significant time lag, during which the slideshow is a big black spot -- not very enticing! My slideshow is NOT very big: about 9 images that are 480x400 jpgs. Why can't it simply put the first one in there right away?
