I am using the html5 slide show and pulling images onto a dynamic page usuing a mysql database. Depending how many images Im trying to show its taking awhile for the slide show to load.

I am not done adding images to the database and Im concerend that the more I add, the slower it will get. Is there something I can do to make this load faster.

On your page you have 3 slideshows that make 45 requests (loading 45 images)

Which are total of: 24.3 MB

You should try optimizing these images for web or place the slideshows on different pages.

thanks for the reply, Ive gone in a made smaller versions of the files and notice a load improvement.

Just in general, is this a good way of doing things, or should I look at something like the feed genie extension? I still want to use the html slide show for the rotating images on the banner and separate slide shows for other things as you have seen.
