How do you use the scroll to anchor function if the anchor is not located on the visible part of the page. After playing with the function, it seems it expects a number of pixels to scroll down, but I have been unable to obtain the pixels using the object.offsetTop property in pure javascript, nor the $(object).offset().top property in jQuery.Suggestions?
Thanks,
Ben

In the first panel, I have html and the content is long. So, I broke it into logical sections and put a menu at the top which would jump to the corresponding section of the content. They click the link at the top of the content and it jumps down to the named anchor within the content.
I am not able to get it to jump to the named anchor.
