Is it possible to add a dynamic link (in this case a buy now link or a link to a detail page)? The gallery is dynamic.

I've tried a couple of different ways and none work or they mess up the gallery.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Les,

Adding a link to a ATG should not be a problem. You might want to change your approach on doing so.
Just create the way you want your page to appear (images, links, repeat) and afterwards apply the ATG to it. Check out the video Enrich Your Existing Page Content with Animated Thumbnail Gallery on the way to do so.

Kind regards, Patrick

I'm trying to maintain the horizontal (3 across by 6 rows) and no matter what I try it ends up giving me a vertical display of one image per row. The only way I can get it to maintain the horizontal 3 per row is if I remove the link.

Any ideas?

Hi Les,

I have done something similar to what you are trying to achieve by doing the following.

1. I created my dynamic page display (image + link)
2. I set the Repeat Region by using Tom Muck's Horizontal Looper.
3. I created an emty Thumbnail Gallery.
4. I copied the Repeat code inside the empty Gallery.

Should work!

Kind regards, Patrick

I've tried it with Horizontal Looper from Tom Muck... it results in the same issues. I'll give it a try again later this week when I free up some time to work on it again.

Hi Les,

Any luck on this? Or did you not find the time to have a further look at it?

Kind regards, Patrick

Was this ever resolved? I'd like to know how to do this as well. My other option would be ability to add a "Buy This Item" link on the light box image.
