Please try the following troubleshooting:

1.)Uninstall the extension from Extension Manager.
2.)Close DW
3.)Clear your DW cache file:
Clearing Dreamweaver's cache
4.)Install the extesion using fresh copy from the product page.
5.)Proceed the install shields in EM & DW
6.)Restart DW.
7.)Try to place the extension on blank page.

I did that but I never get the DMXZone Extension on the Insert menu. I do get a floating menu, but it doesn't have the features that are on the DMXZone extension that should be on the insert menu.

It seems like it is not doing a complete install.

Make sure your Workspace Layout is set to "Designer", then look for the DMXzone submenu in the insert bar, which appears. Look at the following screenshot for more information:

If the insert bar is not shown, please click on Window>Insert from the Dreamweaver main interface.
