Following my recent attempt to update DMXZones extension (Updater, Lightbox, HTML5 Image Enhancer and Slideshow) my Adobe Extension Manager CS6 is now hanging - with "Loading Extensions…" message. Have tried reinstalling AEM CS6 but same thing keeps happening. The only extensions I use in Extension Manager are DMXZone extensions. Hoping that you may know what the solution is? The Adobe Help sections don't really help. Thanks Replies

Hi Clare,
If you still have this problem, please do the following:
Start Extension Manager CS6
Please click "Tools"->"Preferences" menu item in Extension Manager, check "Enable detailed logging" option. Restart Extension Manager. Then install the extension again with fresh download from DMXzone and then through Extension Manager.
After the error message pops up. Send the log files under:
for Windows:
C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6\Log
for Mac:
"/Users/<YourUserName>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/Log" folder
to
Those log files will help us determinate the problem.
Thanks,
George

Hi George
Thanks for your reply. I was unable to click on anything in the Extension Manager as the programme was hanging (with clock icon constantly on and "Loading Extensions…" message).
I solved the problem eventually by deleting the following file:
Library > Application Support > Extension Manager CS6 > Configuration > DB > ExManUser.db
Thanks
Clare

George.....just bought 900euro of extensions from you and I cannot install ANY of them.
It gives an error on startup in Admin mode or Ordinary mode.:
The following extensions 'idcs6_AppFramework.zxp, idcs6_ApplicationUI.zxp etc; for product 'InDesign CS6' failed to be imported. Please make sure these are valid extensions.
I tried deleting the AppFramework extension from the C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS6\Required but it still showed an error for that in startup again.
I tried selecting them on Manage Extension Sets but cannot delete anything from that window??
I try to install my extensions and it hangs on Installing Extension.
I have tried updating it and got an error and so deleted Extension Manager and downloaded it again and installed it but same problems.
I am on Windows 7 64bit
Please advise
thanks and regards

Hi Aidan,
the errors you are getting are from some indesign extensions. Ours are dreamweaver extensions. please make sure you have the latest extension manager and then install the dmxzone extensions.

Thanks George but I already uninstalled and installed the latest Extension Manager
Not your fault but I should have tested Extension manager before laying out all that money....won't work for me now.

if still no luck please contact our live support during European work hours.
