I've seen in several posts that having any kind of a redirect on a page will cause the uploader to fail.

This is a significant issue. There are lots of reasons for a redirect - CAPTCHA's and security to name two.

Is there a plan to fix this or a useful workaround?

Is this being looked into, or is it just going to be entirely ignored as with so many other DMXZone shortcomings?

Unfortunately it is not possible to use redirect with the multi uploader.

Instead you can use a button that when clicked to redirects to another page.
