Pets are often unwilling and uncooperative. Whether it’s because they don’t want to stay still, or they’re afraid of the camera, or maybe they just don’t like being held. But whatever the reason, it can be difficult for photographers to get good shots of our pets unless we have some tricks up our sleeves.
Getting a pet to look at the camera can be difficult.

While getting your dog to look at the camera can be difficult, there are several ways to make it happen.

Training is key. If your pet has been trained by someone else, they may be more inclined to listen to you than if they’re not used to being told what to do.
Use treats! Even if your dog isn’t hungry, he or she may still respond favorably when shown an edible reward during photo sessions (and this could even lead into other types of training).
Distract with something fun and exciting–like another animal or person who likes them very much! You might even try squeaky toys that make noises when pressed against each other; these can work wonders on some pets’ attention spans because they tend not only draw focus but also help keep things interesting for longer periods of time than just about anything else would do alone!
