I have noticed when using Pure Asp Upload 3 that the Progress Bar does not work in IE9. Are there any plans to correct this issue in future updates?

We are currently checking this issue

We modified incPU3.js line 10:

from

e=c.all&&c.getElementById

to

e=c.all&&c.getElementById&&!(dmxGetIEVer()>8)

So that IE 9 will fallback to a more traditional upload progress window (i.e. in a separate window).

This fix enables IE 9 to work (as well as IE 8 compatibility mode ) and Firefox and Chrome’s behaviour is not changed.

For your information, the bug is caused by “IE9 is more strictly following standards” and error code “DOM Exception: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR (5)”

For what we pay for these extensions, you'd think we'd get quicker support. Although I'm a big fan of DMXZone and their extensions, fixing bugs and getting support has always been a problem. (IMHO).

I tried your fix - but sadly my progress bar still doesn't work in IE9. Seems to work ok in other browsers though.
