Please redesign the table edit options to add/remove columns and rows. This is a major feature in all other wysiwyg editors on the market (TinyMCE, FCK, iRite, InnovaStudio...).Another useful feature would be a hyperlink picker with dynamic values from a database table.
Please give us a roadmap on the overall development of ADV HTML Editor 2.
Greetings from Munich

Hi DMX-team
Any news on the further development of ADV Html Editor 2?
Its about time to make some decisions, as KTML 4 (Ex-Interakt) seems to finally become incompatible with latest browsers and PHP etc.
Webassist have announced a new version of iRite coming in the near future, including file management features.
TinyMCE and the new CKEditor (Ex-FCKEditor) look promising, but need too much time to be integrated by hand, especially if one has lots of forms, session variables, user levels and file paths...
ADV HTML Editor 2 would be the perfect solution, but lacks of some important features.
DMX would really be smart to catch the train and polish their editor with the requested features (see the forum posts). Mainly people like me would love to see better hyperlink editing, file upload/management AND better table support.
Considering that the last (minor) update 2.0.10 is already almost one year old (October 29, 2008 ), I would really like to have an announcement, whether or not I should be a little more patient or switch to another product.
So any ideas about a timeline, which features we could expect would be appreciated
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Patrick
Thanks for the fast reply.
Do you at least have an approximate date when we can expect a new version.
I would be pleased if you could say "about two months" or "about six months", without nailing you on this one.

Hello,
I'm also very anxious to welcome a major update for the Advanced HTML Editor. I am very pleased with this product and have used it in many Content Management Systems. However, I've seen similar products with lot's of more features in them.
I am also at the edge of deciding whether to switch to another HTML Editor or not. Especially the lack of editing tables is a big miss to many customers.
Please let us know when we can expect a new update...

Sorry, it seems I have to look for another solution, since there is no further development on AdvHTML Editor 2.
At least some notes if or if not anything is about to happen with an updated version would be very helpful.
I've opened another thread a couple of days ago and still got no reply [V]

I'm tired of waiting to.
Common DMXzone! If you want to discontinue Advanced HTML Editor 2, just please say so. This extension used to be your flagship! Instead of developing all kinds of useless new extensions you really should be going for AHE3. It has been almost 2 years since the last update and I really need some improvement on table editing.
