I have found that smartmailer, recaptcha and gmap draw, although shown as activated in extension manager, do not show in CS5.5. They are shown in CS4. These are the extensions I know about so far. Very strange. Removing extension, removing cache and reinstalling doesn't help.
Can anyone please advice?

ReCaptcha now showing in behaviors, but not opening. Smartmailer not showing at all.

I was unable to recreate your issue on machine with the same configuration.Can you Uninstall the products from extension manager , close DW, clear your DW cache file. Download fresh copy of the products from our site , install them in EM , Restart DW amd try again to insert them ?

Did all that. On opening a page in DW it should start installation. It didn't

All back now.
It appeared several extensions in the Config folder were corrupted. BTW all DMXzone extensions:
Ajax event Calendar, Google Maps, Paginator, PrintIt, Twitter, Sitemap generator, Online page editor, Pure php upload + add on, Universal form validator.
Deleted config folder in total. Then opened Extension Manager and enabled all extensions one by one. That's when I found the corrupted extensions.
After inserting most of the serialnos again, all is working now
