I am having trouble completing the information on Smart Mailer php to send a form to an email address. The tutorial and the manual describe how to complete the “Main” and “Content” pages, but don’t describe how to complete the “Setup”. Component: do I use SMTP or Sendmail? Server: is this mail.mydomainname.com? Is this the same if I want to send to, for example, as for ? User:?? Port:?? Pass:??

It depends on you what component you are going to use.
If you want to use SMTP - you should ask your mail provider for username/pass/port/
