how to validate a medium editor textarea

Hi,I can't validate (server or/and client side) a medium editor texarea.
I mean, I can apply a validation role but it doesn't run.
Can someone help me?
Does anybody have the same problem?

It's just a test page. There's no action file in the form but I apply a required rule to the medium text area.
Please note that when you send the form the url changes

Well, please provide a link where we can check this. "It doesn't work" does not really help us resolve your issues.
