My page has a URL like this localhost/200/issue.html?MYVAL=789456

I am struggling to find a way to display the ID on my page {{$_GET.MYVAL}} using Server Connect Set Value or State Managements {{$URL.MYVAL}} neither seem to work.
In fact State management doesn't seem work at all with App Connect.

Any suggestions?

This can now be done in the latest update when you define Query Params in the "App" node of your App Connect panel. Then in the data bindings they will be available for picking.
