Dynamic data inside mail

7 years ago Hans Haverlach posted:
As part of a shop application, I have got the order ID, and with this ID I can query the database to receive the order data.
This data I want to send in an email with some text as an overview of the ordered goods.

In the server connect panel I add, after the database query, the send email command.
I configured the email server and in the 'Mail Body' part I chose for FILE and HTML.

I opened the file. Now at some place in this file text, I want to use data from my Query. I press the dynamic data icon, but there is nothing to choose from. No fields are visible.
The instruction video only show the dynamic data option with POST data available.
But my question/problem is: can it be done with dynamic data from a query?

Please let me know, how or else: why not?

Thank you!

This is exactly my - unanswered - question. What is the use of a newsletter option if we cannot add changeable content to it. How to do this is really important.
Any news about this after 4 months of waiting?

Hello Greta,
If your question is how to use repeat regions and render data in the mail body - unfortunately this is not possible in the current version of mailer.
Support for this will be added in the future updates.

Any News about this? I urgently need to send Newsletters with dynamic content to a selected group of people. I could trigger the newsletter via an URL parameter. Is this not possible at all to send such a dynamic newsletter?

@Teodor Kuduschiev

Is there any update on this subject because this feature is a necessary part of the emailing system, also need to include a interval system for sending email as most of the server allow only 500 email per hour to send. If there is an interval system after each slot of email sending then bulk mail sending will be easy, like put in the ques and after a slot of email sending it will wait for the next slot to start automatically.

Is there any news here?

You buy the extension
"Emails from Dynamic Source
Generate your email from Server Connect Data Bindings "
and can't use it !? Why? I paid € 100 for it, then the functions should already be able to what is described.

And wait 2 years for an update !? Or is there another version 2 that you have to buy again for a lot of money !?
It is no longer fun to use your tools.

I have already invested a lot of money in your extension ....

Please create a possibility for the future that you can give back the purchased extension if necessary. Unfortunately, it is not possible to test beforehand.

Sasha,
there is nothing false in the following statement:

You can use ANY dynamic data inside the mailer body. You just can't use repeat regions inside it ...

Leveraging dynamic data within emails enhances engagement and personalization. By embedding best photo editing software for ecommerce real-time information like product recommendations or user-specific content, emails become more relevant and compelling to recipients. This practice not only boosts open and click-through rates but also strengthens brand-consumer relationships, fostering long-term loyalty and conversions.

Incorporating dynamic data inside emails allows for personalized and engaging content tailored to each recipient. By dynamically updating information such as product virtual tour for real estate recommendations, event details, or account updates, emails become more relevant and effective in driving user engagement and conversions, ultimately enhancing the overall email experience.
