This is an old product indeed, not quite responsive out of the box.
For parallax effect you can use the Swiper extension.

Can you provide a simple example how to do it?
For example how is it possible to do something like this

Well, that is something totally different, not a slider ...

Check the videos on this page to see how to detect the scroll position and then you can use them to transform elements position.

Well, I'll try. Anyway two suggestions:
1) as parallax effect is very common, why don't you post a detailed video how to do it?
2) as I've told you in another post, why don't you update your templates. They always ask old extensions and, as you know for sure, there are lots of websites providing templates not made with dmxzone extensions.
