Quit and restart the extension manager, go to queue tab, remove the extension from there using the (X) icon.
Quit and restart the extension manager and install it again.

I'm having the same problem. When Extension Manager tries to install it fails anywhere from 50% to 100%. Says connected to 1 peer, hangs/stops, then 0 peers. Tried the above solution but did not solve it.
