Hi, I am trying to update php 5 older sites with new connections to the php 8 mysql versions for my client
While i can connect using Navicat and can see all the tables, when I try to update and connect using Server Connect, I am getting an error,

Error using this Database Connection!
Server Response : SQLSTATE(HY000) [2054] Server sent charset unknown to
the client. Please, report to the developers

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

It depends on what mysql version are you using with the PHP 8.
If it's an old mysql version then this might be causing the issues.
