Is it possible to have a quantity textbox near the "Add to Cart" button where the user selects how many of an item they want to order before adding to cart

I know they can change the amount in the cart but it would be handy to give the user the option when adding initially

I have tried it using {{$FORM.quantity}} in the quantity field but it passes a NaN value to the cart

Please somebody answer this, I want to know too
