Could you please be a little more detailed when explaining your issue? Of course there are download buttons on the product page, just select the version you need, and the download starts.

I clicked on the green alleged so called `Free Download' link to the right. All that did was open another page which included inactive options for Windows 32bit, 64bit and Mac with `see all downloads' and version underneath. Since these are not links, why call them downloads?

There are no fake downloads. All of the download buttons work fine, just select your version: Windows 32bit, 64bit or Mac and click the button ... the download starts then:

It was not clear to me either, that logging in first was required. The button at right just says "Free download." A note somewhere that we need to log in first would help.
