The connection still fails, using OSX 10.9.5 and Dreamweaver CC 2014. Redownloaded several times, reinstalled, removed Applicationsupport before install, nothing seems to help here. All the suggestions in the "No connection" thread have been tried too. Official Solution

Rob - could you please try again? Problem with "No Connection" should be solved now. It turned to be some stupid SSL certificate, missing issuer chain thing ...

Hi Rob,
Did you try the latest version 1.0.7 of DMXzone Extension Manager?
Also when exactly are you getting the "No Connection" error? After login (when you have deleted the cache folder under Application support first)?

I do use 1.0.7, downloaded it twice today. Just to make sure, I just have deleted both the entire DMX Extension Manager folder in Application support AND the preferenses. After restart the Extension manager still does not connect. This has been so for a couple of weeks.
My system was updated to 10.9.5 about that time, but I am not sure it was before or after Extensionsmanager stopped connecting.
As far as I know no firewall settings have been changed.

If you open the secure url www.dmxzone.com/api/em.asp in your browser.
Do you get a blank page but with green lock indicating a valid SSL certificate or do you get an error with wrong SSL certificate?
Also what exact OS do you have?

Hi George, this morning the extension manager logged in as normal. Might be a good idea to have something show the reason for not connecting rather than just telling there is an error. I some browser you at least get a chance to ignore a lacking certificate and still connect.

Hi Rob,
Good to hear it is all solved. If we could show the reason or know it before, we can definately tell you about it. Unfortunately the reason was not provided and connection was just blocked by the OS. So we could only guess what the problem was. But we now know for the future.
