I noticed something about DMXzone Extension Manager which I'm not sure is normal or not. At the top center of the application, I can switch between my two installed version of Dreamweaver - CS6 and CC 2014. When I select CS6, I can see all extensions I have installed, including those that are not from DMXzone. However, when viewing extensions for CC 2014, the DMXzone Extension Manager only displays DMXzone extensions.
Since you've said in the past that your Extension Manager is for all extensions (not just DMXzone), shouldn't they all show up for CC 2014 too?

Hi Steve,
Indeed for Dreamweaver versions CC+ we are unable to detect third party extensions that are not from DMXzone. So we show only the DMXzone ones.

George

Hi George, then you must not claim that your new extension manager is a replacement for Adobe's.
The DMXzone Extension Manager is really only appropriate for Dreamweaver users who DMXzone extensions - and no others.
I'm thinking of scrapping the DMXzone extension manager altogether. I didn't have any problems keeping my extensions updated before, and it's been nothing but trouble and errors.

Hi Steve,
Actually you can just fine install also third party extensions with DMXzone Extension Manager - it just can't detect third party extensions already installed in Adobe Extension Manager CC+
So just reinstall them with DMXzone Extension Manager.
Actually Adobe will soon be discontinuing their Adobe Extension Manager in favor of the cloud, so there won't be any other choice.
Greetings,
George

Ok, I can do that.
I would like your advice. Should I just uninstall the extension managers for both CS6 and CC now and redo all my extensions with yours?
Also, I'm an Adobe cloud user - and I used the add-on thing from the cloud to install the deprecated server behaviors, but I hadn't heard anything about what you're saying. Do you have a link or anything where I can read more about what they're planning regarding the phase-out of the extension manager?
