I am in the Manage Security Provider Builder module and am working with an existing database. Can I have the identity field set to be equal to a value in a field so that the member number field would match the member number of the person logging in? Or would it be better to have the Identity be Access Level = member (one of the three choices in Access Level), And have the Member Number field in the Conditions section as a second Permission? How would I do the Member Number Value?

Hello Hope,
It is not very clear what exactly do you need to achieve?
It is described in our tutorial how to use the permissions and access levels: www.dmxzone.com/go/22311/setup-user-permissions-and-access-level

I can use a userlist or database table and authenticate by users that match a criteria, and they get to see everything. I watched the "Fetching User Details and Filtering Data Sources by User Identity" video and see how to show and hide a single category using the security session ID. What I want to do is to show all the relevant records for a specific user, using the category, member number, which is unique to each user in the table.

Hello,
As it is described in the video tutorial, you can only filter/limit the results by using the dmxSecurityId session variable.
