When doing up a registration form to create a login credentials we really need a way to prevent at least the same email address being used twice. So we really need to be able to check the table before inserting.

This is very important. I am really surprised it is not in there now.

A way around this for this use case scenario is to have a registration form that just has a email or username field displayed and when submitted show a message that email exists or show the registration form if it doesn't.

As listed in our Extensions Roadmap www.dmxzone.com/go/22257/dmxzone-extensions-roadmap-2014/ - both the DMXzone Data Validator and DMXzone AJAX Mailer should be available in the near future. Currently there is no way to validate/check into the database.

Yeah I know about the roadmap but the mailer especially is so far down the list it could be six months to a year away. Was hoping one of the other mail extensions you guys have would work. Looking forward to the new stuff as it comes out though!
