I need to build an app using DW and Phonegap that is to retrieve data from a mySQL database. Of course to work with phone gap the files need to be html. Is it possible to do this with Data bindings?

In order to connect to a mysql database the extension uses php code inside php files.
The only way to use it on a mobile app with phonegap is to work with local json file.

I understand that but is it possible with the extensions? I tried a regular YouTube and RSS feed for example to test and it works fine in dw live view and browser but not in the mobile app.

It only works when using a local JSON file as a data source. Any other methods require running php code.
