Hi, love your work guys! but I am having some issues with the paypal cart limitations.
Before I go in more deeper, I would need to know if there are limitations to the cart:
1- Can you have discounts on more than one item? I mean i know that if you buy 3 sofas and 3 tables you can have discounts for each set of 3 but not for the total 6. I have many diferent items on my website and the cart is useless if its only for one item Ex: if someone buys 6 completely diferent items, not variation on one item.

2- I have multiple currencies, can the cart follow you around the website in one perticular currency? beacause when you install the cart, you need to choose the currency, so you are kinda of stuck with that currency, unless you have a full copy of your whole site in each currency.

3-Can you have more than one product on a page with options, I tried for 2 days I cannot figure out how to make 2 items with lets say color options, as soon as I have 2 or more,the cart takes the options back from the first item options.

4-How do you make the option boxes? the button generator does not seems to create it, I know how to copy from the "real" Paypal.com cart or even copy from your demo pages, but its not working great.

Yeah, sorry, its a lot of questions, but at least if i know the limitations, I wont loose time looking for options that dont exist. The closest I got from having it working is to include the shopping cart to my actual site, without using the button generator. Sorry for the link: footbagnet.com/footbags.htm the general button work, but if you choose diferent options, it dosent show it, it just add it up to the item.

An answer to ANY of theses questions would be really appreciated!

1.)You want to apply discount step each time when 3 items are added is that correct?
For example
Sofa1
Sofa2
Sofa3- Discount 10%
Chair1
Table1
Bed2- Discount 20%
e.t.c ?

2.)You can't add items which have different currencies .. for example if you Have
Sofa1-200 Eur and Sofa2-300$ you will need to convert the price to one currency (USD or EUR)

3.)Are your values for color predefined for each item in database ?

4.)The option boxes are inserted through Dreamweaver.At page 40 from our manual we described how you can achieve that.

Ok, thanks for your quick reply, I figure out most of the stuff, the only major concern is the discount options:

If you buy 1 surf type 1 and 1 surf type 2, can you get a discount?
even better, if you buy a surf type 1 no wax AND a surf type 1 tropical wax, can you have a discount?

the point of having a discount cart is to have discount for the whole cart.

Example is in you own showcase, the watches, if you buy 1 bronze and 1 blue Watch, you dont get any discount. you only get a discount when you buy 2 of the same color. same thing on your sofa page, you dont get any discount when you buy a small and a large sofa.

The shopping cart in our example is constructed to detect for similar items and add discount to them. You can attach behavior on the button for adding items based on percentage.That way you will get discount for each new item added in the cart.

I need people to get the cumulative discount whether they get the same size or not, whether they get different items or not. (ie. x3 small tshirt01, x2 large tshirt02 gets $4.00 off)

Unfortunately this is not possible in the current version of the extension. I will discuss your idea with our developers for the upcoming updates.
As for adding the behavior on your button - currently your code is quite strange, you have a <p> tag inside your button tags, and you attached the behavior on the <p> tag. Please make sure to remove the <p> tag and attach the behavior to the button.

What's the most adequate extension to add the ability for clients to create a profile on my website where they can enter shipping information for example?

I'd like to do that so I can pass that info along to the paypal sliding shopping cart so it can provide them proper shipping costs based on their location.
