It would be nice to have Dreamweaver upload the created css file to the remote server automatically (if this option is activated in the site settings). Replies

Hello,
Thank you for your idea, we will check the possible options to include such an option in the extension.

+1. I have auto-upload enabled and have to manually edit and save the CSS file or an HTML file that uses it, for the CSS to be saved. Would LOVE to see this change as it will make this extension, which is ALREADY awesome, MUCH more useful.

The original request is close to five months old. Any news?

Good idea! We will definitely consider this and should be easy to do when the remote site is defined in the DW site definition, so an automatic upload can be done.

It's already been five months since the original post. I have to assume that you don't plan on adding this feature anytime soon.
That's sad. It's the only shortcoming in an otherwise excellent product.

Hi,
I've found the solution by look into the extension files:
1.) Open the file "YOUR_DREAMWEAVER_CONFIGURATION_FOLDER/Commands/dmxLessCompiler.htm" in your prefered editor.
2.) Find the function "saveFile(css)" (in my case on line 103)
3.) Add "site.put(destURL);" after "DWfile.write(destURL, css);"
That's all
Regards :-)
