Well if there is enough interest we will consider a dynamic version as well.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Quite honestly why buy the extension when I can go to many free sites to generate QR code. The pure value proposition for your extension is only if the QR code and image can be generated and displayed in a dynamic setting.

I have SAAS site that uses a # at the end of the registration link it would be a very nice added feature to automatically generate a QR image for the Account Admins to give to people to allow them to register on the correct site when a new user comes.

even it it means giving them a quick form to use to enter there link and then display the QR code if they need to download it then a link to do so but I suspect we could code for the download easily enough

This would be particularly useful for verifying purchases - I am implementing a site where day tickets are purchased online and using the QR code to verify that the data has not been manipulated on the ticket would be extremely useful.

This would require the QR code to be created dynamically and included in the email template. For me, this would easily justify the cost of the extension.

I am also disppointed that the extension was not designed to handle dynamic data. As has been pointed out before, there are a number of free applications that generate the QR Codes, abd there is even a free method of generating the code dynamically, although it requires that installation of a great deal of software and a four or five hour learning curve. Not to have dynamic support makes this extension not worth the money paid for it and I doubt that any users would opt to pay for it.

I just took a project where I will be building a voting system, where access is controlled with a specific code. The code will be distributed to voters in an information packet they receive at an event. The QR code I need to generate for their printed materials needs to bring them to a URL which has a dynamically created code in it.

If this extension were capable of that, I would buy it in a second to do the job, but I guess I'll have to wait.

YES on this extension supporting dynamic data generation!!
