Twitter API v1.1 requires authentication. When will this extension be updated so that it works again?

Jason Mayes has produced a JavaScript that will work in the short term, but OAUTH needs to be addressed as soon as possible:

Why is DMXZone so bad about updating broken extensions? They should fix things before rolling out new products. I paid for this extension and it is now useless. No time frame for an update/fix. No communication. Nothing.

they don't fix broken extensions they just bring out a new major release and try and charge you for it. Totally over this money grabbing scheme and have returned to WebAssist.

Robert I asked about this extension and they are not going to fix it, I was told the new OAUTH was not worth the time to re-develop the extension just to make this work. Sorry but this extension is dead according to online chat/support.

OK, I understand that as a simple and cheap solution this extension is dead, but how many people would be interested if DMXzone developed a whole new extension suite to deal with OAUTH? It would need both ASP and PHP variants, but would unlock a whole raft of functionality, from automated posts up.
I, for one, would pay for a premium extension for this. Anyone else?

It would probably be a great idea but I'm over paying for extensions only to have them refreshed with a major release that offers some fancy CSS features i don't need or want and leaving the prior version bugged.

I won't be buying any further extensions until this is working or I get a full refund.
