Another great feature of a google maps directions extention would be to be able to place to addresses via html 5 data bindings and then have the directions created from that. Both text directions and also the route on the map.

hmmm ok. I hadn't even tried it. Was thinking that it would have to be updated to work with the new google maps 2.
What I really want to be able to do is get directions between two addresses from the database. Not from the ajax autocomplete. Is that possible or has someone modified that to work?

Actually I am looking for directions from where I am to the location. so it looks like that this extension will do that using the geolocation. I am going to try this now. I guess I need to just read a little further. Thanks for you patience Tudor.
