how can I upolad images with the gallery?

There is probably some error on your page that stops everything including the gallery.

is it possible that it looks like that, if there are no images in the folder? cause when I put an image inside the gallery shows up.
does the gallery upload work without purephphupload?

Hello Denis,

You need Pure Upload ASP/PHP extension in order to upload images. You also need to use the "Allow upload" option in the Advanced HTML Editor settings.

this is what I thought :-) after installing the ppu all was fine. I thought the upload will work without it.

An other thing...

Is it right, that the gallery upload uses the same MAX image size that I set in the editor itself?

Yes - as the gallery is an add-on for the editor, it uses the settings defined in the editor itself.
