I was able to log in and make changes on my test page. However after saving and clicking the close icon, the editable boxes still show a pencil. Even when I close the page and refresh and do not login again, the pencils remain.
Anyway to officially log out?

As it is described in the Product Manual, you logout using the same keys combination as you log in.
